“Added” does not mean “newly invented.”
It means that a word appears in the 2023 New General Service List but not in the compared 1953 General Service List.
The lists were compiled differently. The newer list uses lemmas, while the older list sometimes treats inflected forms as separate entries. Both also contain learner-focused editorial choices.
The source spreadsheet’s original part-of-speech label is retained in every record. Where that label conflicts with the supplied definition, the guide shows a corrected learner-facing label and identifies the correction in the word detail.
Serbian headwords use dictionary forms selected for the supplied definition and corrected grammatical category. They are concise learning aids; a different sense or sentence may require a different translation.
