“Added” does not mean “newly invented.”
It means that a word appears in the 2023 New General Service List but not in the compared 1953 General Service List.
The lists were compiled differently. The newer list uses lemmas, while the older list sometimes treats inflected forms as separate entries. Both also contain learner-focused editorial choices.
Serbian translations in this guide are concise machine-assisted learning aids. A single translation cannot represent every contextual meaning.
